Radiator
Elements of installation of a radiator
|
|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
|
|
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action! |
2. Empty cooling system (see the Head of Adjustment and car routine maintenance). If replacement of a cooling liquid was made recently, keep for the further use (the prevention in Section Antifreeze – the general data see). At a corresponding complete set remove the pallet картера.
3. Release collars and disconnect from a radiator the top and bottom hoses (address to an illustration above).

If the hose "has soured" and does not give in to removal, повращайте it on a branch pipe the big nippers, try not to damage the union. |
4. Disconnect переливной a hose from a radiator mouth.
5. Disconnect from the top part of a radiator an air tube.
6. Remove the fan of system of cooling in gathering with the casing (the Section condition Check, removal and installation of the fan of system of cooling see).
7. On models with АТ disconnect from a radiator hoses of cooler ATF, prepare for gathering of a spilt liquid, at once закупорьте the open ends штуцерных knots.
8. In case of need remove the storage battery and its adjusting pallet (the engine Electric equipment see the Head).

9. Remove a forward decorative lattice (the Body see the Head).
10. Turn out bolts of fastening of a radiator.
11. Remove a radiator, try not to spill cooling liquid and not to cut fingers about keen edges of plates of the heat exchanger.
12. After removal from the car the radiator can be checked up on presence of signs of development of leaks, damages and infringements of internal passableness of the heat exchanger. Any repair should be made only in the conditions of a specialised workshop with application of the necessary equipment.
13. Remains of insects and vegetation can be removed from space between plates of the heat exchanger by blowing by the compressed air (do not forget to put on goggles!), or вычищения a soft brush. Try not to bend thin plates of the heat exchanger and not to cut about them fingers. Before installation the radiator should be washed out by giving in water through a garden hose.
14. Installation is made upside-down. Track correctness of placing of a radiator on the support and behind reliability of a tightening of fixture of all components.
15. On installation end fill in in system cooling liquid of demanded structure (see the Head of Adjustment and car routine maintenance).
16. Start the engine and check up it on presence of signs of leaks. Warm up the engine to normal working temperature (both hoses of a radiator should become hot to the touch). Check up level of a cooling liquid, in case of need add corresponding quantity of a mix of demanded structure.
17. On models with АТ check up level ATF, in case of need execute corresponding updating. |

Broad tank
|
|
1. On the majority of models to liberate a broad tank from located on the neighbourhood with the battery of a basic arm simply enough to pull it upwards, do not forget to disconnect preliminary переливной a hose.
2. Merge cooling liquid in the prepared capacity, then examine tank walls on presence of cracks and other mechanical damages, in case of need make replacement.
3. Installation is made upside-down. |
