Onboard electric equipment
|
Before to start service of components of systems of an onboard electric equipment familiarise with requirements of safety precautions regulations at work with electric devices.

The car is equipped 12-voltnoj by onboard system of power supplies with grounding on a negative pole. The supply of electricity to lighting devices and other consumers is carried out from the storage battery of the lead-acid type which additional charge is made from the alternating current generator. In the present Chapter the description of procedures of repair and service of the electric components which are established on the car and not having the direct relation to work of the engine is resulted. The information on service of such units as the storage battery, the ignition distributor, the generator and a starter is resulted in the Head the Electric equipment of the engine, devoted to an engine electric equipment.
Before to start service of components of an onboard electric equipment, in order to avoid reception of an electric shock, or ignition as a result of casual short circuit, it is necessary to disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Regularly check a condition of plaits of electroconducting and reliability of their fastening in intermediate clamps, collars and обвязках. Watch, that isolation of wires was not wiped at contact to the components located in the neighbourhood.

Models of cars considered in the present Management are equipped by system of additional safety (SRS). Before to start performance of any works near to the block of a pillow of safety, a steering column or the instrument panel, disconnect SRS in order to avoid reception of traumas at its casual operation (the Section of the Pillow of safety - the general information see). Electroconducting of chain SRS is easy for distinguishing on yellow colour of isolation. |
If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped by a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!
