Whereas in ignition system the high voltage is developed very much, service of its components should be made with extra care. The given remark concerns not only the basic knots of electronic system of ignition, but also and to all accompanying components, including tips of coils of ignition, a tachometre and the other diagnostic equipment.

|
|
1. Remove ignition coils (with the switchboard) from spark plugs.
2. Remove spark plugs.
3. Establish candles in coils of ignition and attach an electric socket of the coil of ignition.
4. Disconnect electric sockets from all fuel injectors.
5. Earth spark plugs.

|
6. Turn the engine and be convinced available sparks on candles (address to an accompanying illustration). |
|
|
Not to fill in the engine with gasoline, turn the engine not долее 5 – 10 seconds at one time. |
7. If the spark is not present, check up power supplies receipt on the ignition coil:
a. Do not disconnect the battery at the working engine;
b. Include ignition;
c. Be convinced available pressure on a conclusion (+) coils;
d. If pressure is, check up gauges CKP and CMP.
8. Turning the engine, be convinced available bright blue sparks between electrodes of spark plugs.

At carrying out of the given check to prevent fuel injection, turn the engine no more than 1 – 2 seconds for reception.

9. If the spark is not present, execute the following:
a. Do not disconnect the battery at the working engine;
b. Check up a condition of contacts in sockets of conducting of the coil of ignition. If contacts are perfectly in order, follow further;
c. Check up receipt of pressure of a food on the coil and the switchboard. Include ignition. Check up presence of pressure of the battery on a positive conclusion of the coil. If pressure is not present, check up conducting between the switch of ignition and the coil with the switchboard If conducting is perfectly in order, follow further.
d. Check up resistance of coils of ignition. If resistance do not correspond ordered, replace the coil. If resistance is perfectly in order, follow further;
e. Check up resistance of gauge CMP. If resistance is incorrect, replace the gauge if it is true, continue check;
f. Check up resistance of gauge CKP. If resistance is incorrect, replace the gauge if it is true, continue check;
g. If the spark is not present and in this case, check up conducting between ECU and the switchboard. If conducting is perfectly in order, replace the switchboard. |
