Details of installation of components of a steering drive

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. By means of steering draughts the effort is transferred to operated forward wheels of the car (address to an illustration above). The demanded geometry of interposition of wheels taking into account a difference of internal and external radiuses of turn is thus observed. The steering drive consists of the steering mechanism and two adjustable lateral steering draughts. Progress by means of two adjustable lateral draughts is transferred to rotary fists ступичных assemblages of forward wheels. Lateral draughts are equipped from both ends by spherical tips and adjusting tubular муфтой in the middle. Муфта it is fixed by means of two collars.
2. Result forward wheels of the car in rectilinear position and the ignition key block a steering column.
3. Поддомкратьте one of the car parties so that the corresponding forward wheel has come off the earth on 2 – 3 see
4. Fix циферблатный the indicator so that it плунжер rested against a forward rim of a wheel, then grasp a wheel hands in positions on 3 both at 9 o'clock and strongly pull it forward-back. Consider the indicator indication, it should not exceed value of 2.7 mm. At excessive size люфта attentively check up a condition of all стыковочных and rotary knots of a drive of the steering mechanism. In case of need tighten corresponding fixture and replace defective components.
5. Check up a condition of protective covers of spherical hinges, estimate freedom of rotation of tips of steering draughts, make visual survey of components of a steering drive about revealing of deformations and signs of mechanical damages.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Cock a lay brake. Ослабьте nuts of fastening of a corresponding forward wheel. Поддомкратьте redock of the car also establish it on props. Remove a wheel.
2. Take шплинт and ослабьте, but do not turn on up to the end корончатую a nut of a spherical finger of a tip of draught requiring replacement.

3a. In need of performance of replacement of a tip mark its position (address to an illustration).

3b. With the help 2-zahvatnogo a stripper liberate a tip from assemblage of a rotary fist. Completely turn on корончатую a nut and separate a tip from a fist (address to an illustration).

4. If all draught requires replacement, separate a tip from assemblage of an intermediate shaft (paragraphs 2 and 3 see).
5. Before replacement performance measure distance from a cut adjusting муфты to the central point of a spherical finger of a tip. Result of measurement write down, then ослабьте fastening collars муфты and turn out a tip.
6. Grease a carving part of a new tip with greasing for the chassis. Screw a tip in муфту on former depth (paragraph 5 see).

The quantity of visible coils of a carving of one tip should not differ from quantity of visible coils of a carving of the second more than on three. Do not tighten while fixing collars.

7. Screw корончатую a nut of a spherical finger of a tip, tighten it with demanded effort and fix шплинтом, in case of need having tightened a nut a little more for combination of apertures under installation шплинта.

If шаровый the finger starts to be turned at a nut tightening, press in a conic nest the big nippers.

8. Tighten nuts of fixing collars. The bolt should appear will develop almost horizontally, and a groove adjusting муфты – рассовмещен with locks of collars.
9. Establish to the place of a wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel nuts with demanded effort (see the Head of Adjustment and car routine maintenance). Drive away the car on a car repair shop for carrying out of check and adjustment of corners of installation of forward wheels.
