The routine maintenance schedule

The intervals of routine maintenance of the car stipulated in the present Section are calculated on independent performance by the owner of a vehicle of all necessary procedures. Duration of intervals was defined proceeding from the assumption that the car is maintained in a daily mode. Only under condition of a conscientious attitude of the owner to care of the vehicle it is possible to achieve the maximum return from the power unit of the car and its other knots and systems. It is not necessary to forget as well about necessity of maintenance of a trade dress of the car on a case of its resale. Constantly to support a vehicle on the form peak, following procedures should be carried out slightly more often:

Outside of the car

Check a condition of tyres and pressure of their rating (Check of a condition of tyres and pressure of their rating see).
Check efforts of a tightening of wheel nuts (Specifications see).
Check presence of leaks of liquids under the car.

In the car

Check a working condition of a horn, headlights, fires and indexes of turns.
Check a working condition of seat belts (the Section Check of a condition of seat belts see).
Check smoothness of a course and a free wheeling of a pedal of a brake (the Section Adjustment of height of position and a free wheeling of a pedal of a brake see).
Check softness and smoothness of a course of a pedal of gas.
Check working capacity of brakes in a safe place (the Section Check of brake system see).

Under a cowl

Check level of a liquid of the screen wiper cooling liquids, working liquid ГУР and brakes (Sections Check of levels of liquids and Check of level of a liquid of the hydraulic booster of a wheel see ).
Check level of impellent oil (the Section Check of levels of liquids see).
Check electrolit level (the Section Check, service and accumulator room gymnastics see).
Check absence прогаров, cracks and reliability of fastening of final system (the Section Check of a condition of components of system of release of the fulfilled gases see).

At operation of the car in the conditions of strongly dusty and broken roads, an intense city cycle (frequent short trips, long work of the engine idling), negative temperature, and also at frequent towage of the trailer, intervals of performance of procedures of routine maintenance should be, whenever possible, are reduced to a minimum.

Servicing of a new vehicle, in order to avoid infringement of factory guarantee certificates, should be made on a firm car repair shop of the company-manufacturer of the car.

Through each 10 000 km of run or time in 6 months (that will come earlier)

Through each 40 000 km of run or time in 24 months (that will come earlier)

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

In addition to the checks listed in the previous subsection:

Through each 80 000 km of run, or time in 48 months (that will come earlier)

Through each 150 000 km of run
