1. Muffle the engine and wait its full cooling. Having reached through an aperture in the valve, a finger press on its diaphragm, at moderate effort the diaphragm should cave in considerably (address to an accompanying illustration). |
2. If the diaphragm does not cave in, or appreciable resistance shows, it is necessary to replace valve EGR. In case of absence of confidence of results of check compare the valve with new, or obviously serviceable. |
